Monroe’s: Monroe’s takes presidency at The New Gower Hotel

A bigger second issue after a warm response to the launch. Monroe’s restaurant at The New Gower Hotel revives some forgotten classics, The Purple Badger in Llanrhidian launches new menus, and Gower Life holds its first Premier Social at Quay Three’s Lounge.

On the cover

Linda Clayton-Evans says it took a while for people to realise Monroe’s was open to non-residents, but word is getting out. Head chef Mark Evans has been bringing back dishes you rarely see on menus now, from lobster Thermidor to the Filet Monroe’s, and the hotel in Bishopston is now taking wedding bookings into 2020.
